Zahak is a character that appears in Prince of Persia: Before the Sandstorm. He is a King of an unnamed island.
Biography[]
Zahak ruled an island where Prince Dastan's ship wrecked. There were survivors but they were quickly captured and brought to Zahak's palace, where they were imprisoned. Each night two men were brought to Zahak, and fed to the snakes on his shoulders. One of the prisoners, Roham, managed to escape and kill several of Zahak's guards. Roham later was captured and brought before Zahak again. But this was a ruse, the guard who brought him in was Dastan. Dastan cut off both of the demon snake heads, but they regrew. Then Dastan used the chance to stab Zahak in the heart with a sword, killing him and releasing the inhabitants of his island from their terrible fate.[1]
