Ubisoft Singapore is the Chinese Subsidiary of the Ubisoft corporation, located in Singapore, China. Ubisoft Singapore is responsible for the co-development of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

History[]

Ubisoft Singapore was founded and established in July of 2008.[1] Ubisoft cited the Singapore government’s demonstrated interest and support for the video game industry, together with other factors such as the quality of Singapore’s universities and training institutions, as reasons for opening a studio there.

Not unlike Ubisoft Sofia, Ubisoft Singapore spent a majority of its career supporting other Ubisoft studio titles with ports for X-box Live and PlayStation Network, and co-development credits. They played a part in the development of Assassin's Creed II. They created ten tomb levels for the game that were later used by Ubisoft Montreal.[1] They also created ten tomb levels, an two Desmond free-running levels for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, eleven levels for Assassin's Creed: Revelations and the bulk of the free roaming navel battle missions Assassin's Creed III.[1] Since 2010, Ubisoft Singapore has been focused on developing their own game titles.[2]
