The Time Portal (also known as the Recall) is a device used on the Island of Time in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
Abilities
Time Portals are located in different points of the Fortress of Time and are used by Kaileena, Shahdee and the Sand Creatures to move back and forth through various periods of time on the Island of Time.[1]
The portal is activated using four pressure plates located on the wall around the circular platform where a Sand Vortex resides. Once the pressure plates are activated, the user need but stand in the center of the platform and be transported back to the present or past.[1]
The changes in time cause a direct effect on the surrounding environment's architecture; the world either reverting back to its original state before the decay of time or its present, ruined and unkempt --- and how the Prince will traverse the landscape and solve puzzle.[1]
