The Throne Room is located within the Fortress of Time.

History[]

The Prince seeks the Empress of Time to prevent her from creating the sands. When he arrives in the Hourglass Chamber, he finds the throne room sealed by a barrier, and can only be disabled by activating the fortress's towers.

Kaileena informs the prince that the creation of the sands of time is inevitable, as it was foretold in the timeline. The prince completely disregards her warning and persists in unlocking the door.

The prince eventually unlocks the throne room and prepares to stand before the Empress. Kaileena joins the prince as he enters the throne room, and she rejects his offer of coming with him to Babylon. As Kaileena continues ahead, the prince follows behind her only for her to lock the door behind him.

Kaileena finally reveals herself as the Empress of Time, and the two fight to the death. During the battle, however, she tells that she cursed one of the swords she gave to the prince.

When the battle ends, Kaileena falls to the ground and the sands of time are once again released. After the prince discovers that Kaileena's death created the sands of time, he returns to the throne room to locate the Mask of the Wraith, to undo their battle.

After the prince reverses her death, he re-encounters Kaileena right before their battle is set to take place. This time, he forces her into the time portal behind the throne room, sending her to the present day.

Trivia[]

  • There are a total of two artwork chests located in the Throne Room.
  • This is the only location in the game the Imperial Guards appear.
