Temple of Fire is a location for several levels in Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame.

History[]

Near Basra on top of a mountain is the Temple of Fire. Built in ancient times to house the blue everburning flame, that is the center of a religion. Even being a neighbor to Basra, the temple guards had no interaction with the city and remained neutral, even as it came under siege from the forces of darkness.

The temple's defenses are built to keep the flame pure, and it is guarded by Bird-Headed Guards who attack and kill anyone who dares enter the temple[1]. There is even a magical Flaming Sword that guards the last door leading to the Blue Flame[2].

Prince infiltrated the temple and reached the blue flame, he however died near it. The Prince used his ability to split into Shadow Man to take part of the magic flame and once entering back into his body, the Prince was resurrected. The Bird-Headed Guards then started to prostrate to the Prince, as he left the temple[2].

Gameplay[]

Temple of Fire consists of four levels[2].
