Sand Vultures (or Sand Birds) are an uncommon animal enemy encountered in the The Sands of Time.[1]
Biography
The bird cage of Azad was famed throughout Persia, often described as one of the wonders of the world.[1] However, not even the Sultan's cherished bird collection escaped transformation by the Sands of Time.
These winged creatures attack the Prince and Farah on numerous occasions throughout their journey. Transformed by the power of the Sands of Time, these vultures now resemble the carrion they once ate.[1]
Gameplay
Strategy
Many times, Sand Vultures will attack while the Prince or Farah whenever they come within proximity of their territory. During the first encounter, if the player abstains from attacking the Vultures, Farah can easily kill all of them with a single arrow without the help of the player.
