Red Sand Guards are one of the enemies in The Sands of Time.
These fiends were probably once soldiers of either Persia or Azad, but have now been transformed via the Sands of Time. They are dressed in red armor, and carry a large halberd as their weapon. They are strong enemies, as they block most of the Prince's attacks, and the slashing wall move is the most effective way to harm them, another way to defeat them is to vault over them and slash with your sword, then follow through with the dagger. The Prince encounters these enemies all throughout his journey of redemption.
Later in the game, the Prince will encounter a similar, but even tougher enemy known as Blue Sand Guards.
