Biography[]

Prince of Persia[]

The Princess was the only daughter of the Sultan of Astrabad. She was thought to be beautiful, like the "moonrise in a clear heaven". When Sultan left his kingdom to fight in a foreign land, the Princess fell in love with a young traveler who climbed the palace wall to see her.[4]

This did not please the Sultan's Grand Vizier Jaffar who meant to marry the Princess himself. Seizing power, Jaffar had his rival thrown into the dungeon, but the young man escaped and struck down the evil magician and saved the Princess.[4]

Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame[]

When he learned of his Vizier's treachery, the grateful Sultan offered riches but the stranger requested to marry the Princess. The Princess and the Prince were married. They lived together in peace for eleven days.[3]

Jaffar was revived somehow, and was out for revenge. He takes the Prince's identity, and once again seizes power over the kingdom. The Princess tries to inform her father, but Jaffar catches her and locks her in a magical coma. The Prince eventually manages to kill Jaffar and save her.[3]

During the Prince's fight with her uncle, Assan kills her father with a dagger meant for the prince. Before the Sultan dies, the Sultan discloses points to the Dirigible indicating that the Princess is planned to be taken away. Rugnor visits the Princess in her room before that and tells her that the Prince is dead and they are now free to marry. Princess was once more approached by Rugnor, the Princess pretended to like him, and grabbed his sword and cut of one of his hands. Rugnor did not like that and knocked her out. When the Princess was taken to the Dirigible, she saw the Prince.

During the flight, the Prince managed to climb to the top, but just before Prince reached the Princess, Rugnor used a giant bird to take Princess to the temple in the mountains. Rugnor having enough of the Princess behavior, ropes the princess to a giant gear. The Prince managed to reach them in time and stop the gear before the Princess would be crushed. They then sit on the Lamassu and fly the opposite direction of Persia. [5]
