Prince of Persia Wiki:Requests for rollback

This page is considered an official policy on the Prince of Persia Wiki. It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone should follow. Except for minor edits, please make use of the discussion page to propose changes to this policy.

This is the page where you can make formal requests to be a rollback user. A rollback user has the ability to undo edits in one click of a button, making it more effective and faster then undoing. These edits are hidden from Recent Wiki Activity, so it does not spam.

Requests for rollback privileges are currently open.

Requirements

There are no concrete requirements for rollbacks. However, these users will usually:

• Have a very strong history of undoing vandalism, or edits that are not made in good faith
• Be trusted by the community
• Have no history of serious blocks due to vandalism or sockpuppetry
• Have been here over a week

Procedures

Step 1: Nominating

1. When requests are being accepted, users may be nominated by others (to ensure that they are not just nominating a friend, you must give valid reasoning).
2. The user being nominated then must accept. Nominations will be open for 2 days. (please do not add support under a nomination, and please do not request.)

Step 2: Choosing

1. Admins will then decide to pass the nomination or not.
