Prince of Persia: Redemption was a proposed title in the Prince of Persia series by Ubisoft Montreal in 2010-2011, but the pitch was never picked up.
Gameplay[]
Since it's pre-rendered video, the elements of gameplay may be misleading. From observation it seems that Prince has some powers that allow him to dash by short teleport, manipulate enemies, and turn back time. The powers also seem to be connected to his malformed arm. The arm also would allow Prince to hang onto walls, much like the Prince from 2008 game.
Development[]
A pre-rendered game pitch was created by animation director Khai Nguyen and team[1]. Christophe Prélot reportedly also worked on an unreleased Prince of Persia game in that same time period as mentioned on his LinkedIn profile[2]. The video was uploaded onto Youtube in Mar 1, 2012 by an unknown person[3].
Concept artist Christophe Courrat, who previously has worked on Prince of Persia: The Fallen King and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PSP) also worked on the project as character designer and character artist[4]
