"Prince's Sword" is the default weapon used by Prince in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

The Sands of Time[]
The Prince's sword is a standard single-bladed weapon; the Prince uses the sword during Persia's attack on India. It is also used during the first phases of his journey.[1]
He replaces this sword with the Sword of the Mighty Warrior so as to break walls, but uses it again in the last level to fight the Vizier. Despite being the weakest weapon compared his latter weapons, the Prince uses his default sword to defeat both the bosses (Sand King and the Vizier) in the game.[1]
The Forgotten Sands[]
When the Prince journeys to Solomon's Palace to mentor under his brother, Malik, he ends up entangled in the conflict of with an invading army and supernatural forces of the Djinn Sand Army. For a majority of his journey, the Prince wields a broad double-edged sword. The sword is strong enough to combat the armies of Ratash, and made doubly stronger with the Powers of the Djinn provided to him by Razia.[2]
Eventually, however, he trades his traditional sword for the enchanted weapon, the Djinn Sword.[2]
