Prince's Mother is a character who appeared only in Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame. She starts off as a mysterious woman, who eventually reveals herself to be Prince's dead mother.
Biography[]
Prince's Mother was a queen of Basra. When this city was defeated and destroyed by armies of darkness, Prince's mother placed the prince in a wooden cradle and placed it in a mound that lead to a river.[1], giving him a chance to live. Soon after, as the city fell, the king and queen were killed, king's sword remaining in the ruined palace's throne room.[2]

- In the remake Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, Prince's mother is more ghostly looking.
