Persia is the setting of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
History[]
Persia suffered three decades of drought, with the once fertile plains of Fars becoming as barren as the Lut salt desert. It was in this period of woe that Persia was invaded by the Kushans. General Ardashir led the Persians in defense of their land, but they failed to stem the Kushans' advance, and eventually, the Kushans lay siege to Persepolis itself. Defeat for Persia appeared certain, but under the direction of Anahita, Persia's Immortals counter-attacked the Kushans. The Kushan general, Uvishka, was slain by the Immortal Sargon in a duel, which gave Persia a brief reprieve.[2]
