Maryam is the architect of Persia in the canon of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
Biography[]
Maryam was the royal architect of the Citadel for King Darius. She designed all the city fortifications, traps and other contraptions in Mount Qaf. Arman reported that a lot of workers died or were disfigured in the process of making the traps.[1] Maryam found a way to gather Athra and constructed a device understanding time and space. she also apologized to Darius for the men who lost their lives building it.[2]
Long after the death of the King, she continued to develop the city, driven mad by the curse.[3] Rumors of hidden treasures started after the curse, there is a scroll speculating that finding them might restore the sanity of Maryam.[4]
Sargon meets the architect, who asks him to solve puzzles hidden throughout Mount Qaf and return to her for a grand puzzle. Once Sargon has done so Maryam recovers her memories and reveals to Sargon that Simurgh lives.[5]
