The Lamassu is a minor character from Prince of Persia 3D.

Biography

The Lamassu is a creature found in the Floating Ruins trapped behind a giant statue. The Prince frees it to progress, but later – when the Prince is surrounded by enemies, the Lamassu lands nearby and the Prince uses it to escape the Floating Ruins and follow Rugnor.

Later, when the Prince has rescued the Princess, they use the Lamassu to fly away from the palace, and even Persia, seeking new adventures.

Trivia

• In the game files, the Lamassu is misspelled as "Llamasu".
• As the Floating Ruins level is removed in Dreamcast version, the Lamassu's in-game appearance has been removed as well.
  • The Lamassu appears only in the ending cinematic, and as a easter egg of sorts: as the meat item has been replaced with a Lamassu statuette on Dreamcast.
