Holy City was a legendary city built by the ancients in tribute to the three forces that ruled their lives: the Sun, the Moon, and the Sand.
In ancient times the city housed three shrines dedicated to those three forces. Shrine of the Sun was where in ancient times only priests of the Sun could enter. There they worshiped the life-giving light. Shrine of the Moon was where priests paid tribute to the Lord of the Night, the patron of magic and dreams. shrine of the sand was where the ancients worshiped the sand, as it represented the land beneath their feet, borders of their kingdom, and the time as grains through an hourglass.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (DS)
Prince traveled through the Holy city after he had lost his memories in the plot to resurrect their master by the Cult. The prince fought and defeated the Priest here, before heading towards Babylon.
