- "Not to be confused with their deadlier counterpart, this enemy wears red and has just a single blade on its halberd. This is perhaps the most common Sand Creature in the palace. This particular breed can be sliced and diced in a variety of ways and shouldn't pose too much of a threat. Nonetheless, this creature's lengthy weapon can cause significant damage if it strikes while the Prince is preoccupied with other Sand Creatures. When fighting a variety of enemies at once, seek out and destroy the Sand Creatures with the halberds to make fighting the larger foes more manageable."

Biography[]
Once soldiers of Azad, these men were transformed by the enchanted Sands of Time. Dressed in red armor, they wield a large halberd as their weapon. They are the first enemies the Prince encounters when the Hourglass of Time is opened.
Gameplay[]
Strategy[]
Red Sand Guards are moderately strong enemies. Unlike the Sand Servants, they will block most of the player's attacks. Their most effective move against the player is a double slash that can knock the Prince off his feet. Using the Wall Rebound is the most effective way to harm them.
Another way to defeat them is to vault over them and slash with your sword, then follow through with the dagger. The Prince encounters these enemies all throughout his journey of redemption.
