Dar El-Harin didn't much like Assan. Dar El-Harin once made a very opinionated speech about him, and weeks later he was assassinated[1].
Dar El-Harin's speech:
"Assan is a scoundrel. He lies, cheats, steals, and arrogantly flaunts the most basic tenets of his faith. I have heard that serpents shun his castle for they do not wish to be associated with a creature so disreputable."
