<p>What do you think likely happened to Malik when the Prince began to meddle with the timeline post <i>Forgotten Sands</i>?
</p><p>This is probably a misunderstanding on my part, I like to think Malik was resurrected through the Prince's attempts to evade the Dahaka, but his death is roughly far enough from those events, that probably wouldn't be affected by anything the Prince did on the Island of Time.

<p>The sands of times games are a bit hazy for me now (need to play through them again), but I think Forgotten Sands is separated enough from the Sands of Time related events, that it probably happened.

<p>A little late to this shindig but most likely dead again based on the fact that the ressurection gave the Vizier years to plot and carry out his actions. Most likely killed Malik.Â

<p>Seems likely the events of The Forgotten Sands still occured, as if I recall correctly the reason Sharaman sent the Prince to visit his brother was to learn from him, still believing him to be inexperienced as events of The Sands of Time were forgotten to all but the Prince himself. With the siege of Babylon still underway at the beginning of The Two Thrones it definitely seems like the time gap fits and the Vizier had only recently come there in the the weeks while the Prince was sailing to and from the Island of Time. So saddly Malik is probably condemned to his fate.

Personally I count TFS as canon and so by the means of how TFS happened before WW which means that those events ever happen. In short Malik is alive.

Oops I made mistake I mean that the events in TFS never happened due to the Prince altering the timeline so in short Malik is alive.
